Heroic Policy (25 Man SCHEDULED ONLY):

ATTENDANCE DKP:
DKP is earned by participating in raids or by making contributions. Here are the present values.
Naxxramas (Heroic) – 5 DKP
Vault of Archavon (Heroic) – 5 DKP
The Obsidian Sanctum (Heroic) – 5 DKP
The Eye of Eternity (Heroic) – 5 DKP

This DKP is received for being on time for the raid! If you are late without informing an officer you will forfeit this attendance DKP.

Boss Kills - Each boss kill is worth 5 dkp points for anyone in the raid group. People on the WL will not receive boss kill points.
1st Time Boss Kill - Double DKP awarded for that boss (10 dkp).

Ex. The Obsidian Sanctum full clear would net you 10 dkp (5 for Sartharion and raid attendance)

DKP CAP:
Currently there is a DKP cap of 500 DKP. You will not be able to earn DKP above this cap.

WAITLIST:
You will earn 50% of the raids total DKP for the night. This means if the raid kills 13 bosses (65 DKP) plus Attendance (5 DKP) equaling 70 DKP, people on waitlist will receive 35 DKP.

Waitlist DKP will be taken at the end of the raid night. A message will be sent out in guild chat and /ntsalt channel that waitlist is now being taken for the night … you will have 5 minutes to respond, once the 5 minutes is up, waitlist will be taken.

You will only get waitlist if you did not kill any bosses for the night.
The minimum you will receive is 5 dkp.

In order to receive WL DKP, the following must be met:
-Availability: You must be able to be in the instance within 5 minutes of being called on – without summons. At a minimum, you should have your hearth set to the nearest town.
-AFK: If you go AFK you must let the WL Officer know, because if you are called upon and do not respond, all WL DKP acquired for that day will be lost.
-Alts: You may play an alt if you wish, leaving your main parked outside of the instance. However, you need to be easily reachable – alt in guild or stay in vent and listen.

It is the responsibility of each member to ensure that their name is on the WL. If your name is not on the WL then you will not earn WL DKP. You can see if you are earning DKP while on the WL because your name will have a * in front of it. Example: *Jeepy

ALTS:
Alts are permitted to raid, however, under very limited circumstances.
-An Alt will never get a raid spot over a main of the same class.
-Each toon earns their own DKP, therefore, you cannot earn/spend DKP from your main on your alt.
-If, as a last resort, you are asked to play your Alt for class balance, DKP may be awarded to either your alt or your main if you so desire.
-When it comes to loot, mains have first priority, and alts have second.

Switching mains is not permitted unless you have received express permission from the guild leadership and it is for the benefit of the guild. DKP may also not be switched from one toon to the other, unless you have received permission from leadership.

TRIALS:
To be eligible for main spec loot: you must attend 3 raids with the guild.

SPENDING DKP:
Class Set Gear is awarded to the individual with the highest DKP. In the event of a tie, a roll off will be done. If the person with the highest DKP passes, then we will go down the list until the item is given to somebody.

Values for Class Set Gear:
Tier 7 – 100 DKP

Non-set Item Drops - Purchase for 55 DKP
Non-set Weapons/Shields - Purchase for 60 DKP

HOW DOES THIS WORK?:
There will be no more bidding on items!
We are now using a fixed dkp system, meaning you purchase items for a fixed amount!

Ex. Something drops that Syn and Jeepy both want and its worth 55 dkp. Both want the item and both are willing to spend the 55 dkp to purchase it. An officer will check to see which member has the highest DKP and it will go to that person. In the event of a tie a roll will take place between those 2 people.

This way everyone who participates with the raids will have a good chance to get gear, it doesn't rely on typing skills or fast reaction times for bidding. This also rewards people who haven't got an item in awhile, once you get something you move down the latter and other people move up.

• Note – you can still bid even if you have negative DKP

GREED POLICY:
On a given night, if you receive a piece of loot, you will be asked to pass on the next drop. If no one wants that drop than you are welcome to get another piece. Preference will be given to people who haven’t gotten any loot on the current run!

This is to ensure that there is no loot whoring, and provide a fair gear distribution.

OFFSPEC LOOT:
- If there is no bids for main spec an item will be released for offspec
- Loot will be given on a /roll basis and does not apply to the greed policy, however, be respectful to your fellow guildies.
- If the item can be used for your main spec then you must pay DKP for it.
- If you roll on an item. it will go to the highest roll, no passing, no trading. (rolls are permant).

Mixed Classes (Druids, Shamans, and Priests): If an item contains mp5, it will be regarded as holy, or resto gear. If an item contains hit it will be regarded as a dps. Anything else must be used for DKP. There is not sub feral (tank/dkp) ... Feral is Feral!

Pure Classes (Mages, Warlocks, Rogues, Hunters): Sorry but you do not have an off spec. Arcane/FFB do not count as different specs, neither does Destruction/Demo. Offspec is a different play style ie; healer, dps & tank, different kinds of dps are not considered, you will still have to pay dkp for loot. (I know it sucks.. )

LEGENDARY ITEMS & CRAFTING MATS...RARE MOUNT DROPS (25-man's):
Legendary Items: Legendary items will be officer assigned. The decision will be based off of attendance, guild participation, and guild benefit. DKP may be required – information regarding DKP will be determined prior to loot being assigned, if DKP is being used for it.

Crafting Mats: BoE Crafting mats are only to be looted by the designated officer, and will be sent to the guild bank. These mats will be used to craft the necessary pieces required for guild progression and will be distributed to members based off of need, and attendance. Certain classes may take priority over other classes.

Rare mounts will be rolled for.
